Students may begin arriving on campus at Colorado Mountain College on Sunday, June 18. Check-in begins at 3:00 pm. Students may not arrive earlier than Sunday, June 18.

departures

Check-out begins the morning of Saturday, July 15. Our Festival Concerts are Thursday, July 13 and Friday, July 14. 

airline travel

Students choosing to arrive by plane can fly into Denver International Airport (DIA), change planes, then fly to Yampa Valley Regional Airport (HDN), and can schedule a shuttle service pickup and return with CO West Transportation, which will take a student directly to and from the Colorado Mountain College, Hill Hall dormitory on campus.

  • One-way shuttle service from Denver International Airport to Steamboat Springs is approximately 4 hours. A student should arrange to arrive Denver International Airport around 12:00 p.m. if using the CO West taxi service.

Students choosing to arrive by plane can fly into Denver International Airport (DIA) and can schedule a shuttle service pickup and return with CO West Transportation, which will take a student directly to and from the Colorado Mountain College, Hill Hall dormitory on campus.

  • One-way shuttle service from Yampa Valley Regional Airport to Steamboat Springs is approximately 1 hour.

Before booking airline travel, confirm in advance with CO West Transportation the available inbound and outbound pickup times. 

driving directions

Steamboat Springs from Denver:

Travel time is 3.5 hours from the Denver International Airport in good weather. Take I-70 West to the town of Silverthorne/Dillon, and exit to the right on Hwy 9. Follow Hwy 9 to Kremmling, and turn left on Hwy 40. Follow it over Rabbit Ears Pass to Steamboat Springs.

To campus from Steamboat Springs:

(From the US Post Office in downtown Steamboat Springs)

Head northwest on Lincoln Ave (Highway 40) toward 3rd Street. Turn right on 12th Street. Turn left onto Bob Adams Drive. Turn right to stay on Bob Adams Drive. Take the first right to stay on Bob Adams Drive. Colorado Mountain College will be on the right. Please go to the top of the hill for check in at Hill Hall.
