Performance Classes
We offer two performance classes per week. Students are invited to participate in performance classes by their assigned private teacher or chamber music coach. A faculty pianist is available for performance classes when needed. Students have the opportunity to rehearse with the pianist prior to the performance class.
Technical and Artistic Expression
We focus on the mechanics of practicing, technical development, as well as artistic expression. Thus, in addition to solo repertoire, students often play scales and etudes in performance classes. Also, students receive instruction in the importance of warming up and physical conditioning.
