Students may begin arriving on campus at 10:00 am; however, RMSC cannot take responsibility for these students or their belongings before the 1:00 pm Check-in. |

Transportation assistance will begin at 10:00 am on arrival days. (Please avoid making travel arrangements that get you to RMSC after 8:00 pm as attendance at the initial student meeting is essential.) |

Students may arrive no earlier than the Sunday arrival days. |

Transportation assistance begins at 7:00 am and concludes at 11:00 am. Students departing prior to 7:00 am must take public transportation such as the Alpine Taxi. |

Airline Travel:
Students arriving by air may fly into Denver International Airport (DEN) and either:

Change planes, then fly to Hayden/Yampa Valley Airport (HDN) where they will be picked up by our staff and taken to the check-in location on campus. |

|
Schedule a pick-up and return with the Alpine Taxi shuttle service (800-343-7433), and be taken directly to the check-in location on campus. (The one-way drive from Denver to Steamboat Springs is approximately 4 hours. |

Automobile / Commercial Transportation:
Driving to Steamboat Springs from Denver: Travel time is 3.5 hours (in good weather) from the Denver International Airport

Take I -70 West to the town of Silverthorne/Dillon |
|
|
|
Exit to the right on Hwy 9 |
|
|
|
Follow Hwy 9 to Kremmling |
|
|
|
Turn left on Hwy 40 |
|
|
|
Follow it over Rabbit Ears Pass to Steamboat Springs |
|
|
|
Hwy 40 turns into Lincoln (continue below) |
Driving to the campus from Steamboat Springs: From the town pool or post office (eastern part of town)

Turn north on 3rd Street |
|
|
|
Turn right at the next stop sign (Fish Creek Falls Road) |
|
|
|
Continue up the hill, turn left on Amethyst Drive |
|
|
|
Follow the road as it winds around the hill, past the public schools, which will lead you to County Road 36 |

|
Follow this road for about 4 miles; look for the Lowell Whiteman School sign on the left. (You will drive through a valley named Strawberry Park, passing Perry Mansfield Dance/Theatre Camp on your left.) |
